Attendees listened to the music of DJ Emmitt and enjoyed some food with a drink of Lantern Ale – a distinct artisanal brew in honour of Black History Month on January 22, 2020. This event featured the launch of the 2020 Black history month calendar.

Guests were treated to an immersive theatre experience as community members performed scenes from Adam Myrie’s “Songs of Sunya” on February 09, 2023. The evening included a dramatic table read from his upcoming novel, refreshments including Lantern Brew Coffee, Dream Makers tea, African Honey Cake, signed copies of the book and more!!
