The four children attended Central School on Dublin and Streets. Percy, Ted and Melba completed G.C.V.I. and
Pat completed Business College.
Percy worked at Tolton’s Mfg. Co. on Tool & Die Co. and the Maintenance
of way division of the CPR and railway and retired from fiberglass co. on york road after 38 years of employment.
Percy was quite athletic and played football at highschool; industrial hockey and participated in the local boxing club.
He married Marie Walker of New York City, N. Y. and moved to Hamilton, Ont. where he was working, and was also a choir member of the Stewart Memorial Church. He was a member and Grand Master of the Masonic Lodge. His wife Marie has relatives living in Hamilton.
They moved to Guelph and raised five sons – Percy Jr. Keith, Rodney, Kirk and Timothy. Who are
actively working and are involved in city activities. Mother Marie is a member of the local BME
church.
